The International Journal of Public Health and Community Medicine (AL-SHIFA) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing research, practice, and policy in public health, community medicine, and health promotion. It emphasizes innovative, interdisciplinary, and evidence-based approaches that support recovery, empowerment, and sustainability in community health systems worldwide. Serving as a platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and educators, AL-SHIFA publishes studies on epidemiology, health behavior, health systems management, environmental and occupational health, global health policy, disease prevention, and community-based interventions. It also welcomes research exploring the intersections of technology, innovation, and social determinants of health. Guided by the vision of “Healing Communities through Knowledge and Innovation,” the journal promotes transformative knowledge that connects research, policy, and practice to foster healthier and more equitable societies. AL-SHIFA follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, adheres to COPE ethical standards, and is published biannually (June and December). All articles are available in English under an open-access policy to ensure broad global dissemination and scholarly impact.
