AVERROES: Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance Studies. is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing research and scholarship in Islamic economics, banking, and finance. It provides a global platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to publish original research and theoretical studies that integrate Sharia principles with contemporary economic and financial systems. The journal covers diverse topics including Islamic banking and finance, halal investment, Islamic entrepreneurship, business ethics, zakat and waqf management, Islamic social finance, and digital transformation in Islamic economics, while also examining global economic policies and their impact on Muslim communities. Guided by the spirit of “Faith, Ethics, and Innovation in Islamic Finance,” AVERROES seeks to bridge spiritual values with academic excellence and professional practice, fostering a just, inclusive, and sustainable Islamic economic order. The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, adheres to COPE ethical standards, and is published biannually (June and December). All manuscripts, accepted in English or Arabic, are made available through open access to promote global knowledge dissemination and scholarly collaboration.
