Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the digital era has brought significant changes to the world of education, both in terms of methods, media, and interaction patterns between educators and students. This study aims to analyze the importance of collaboration between the fields of education and communication in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process. Education as a process of knowledge transfer and character formation requires an effective communicative approach so that learning messages can be conveyed optimally. On the other hand, appropriate communication can create a more participatory two-way interaction, motivate students, and strengthen their involvement in the learning process. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various theories and previous research results related to the integration of education and communication in the digital environment. The results show that the synergy between the two can increase the effectiveness of learning through the use of digital technologies such as e-learning, educational social media, and interactive platforms that encourage active collaboration. In addition, this collaboration also plays a role in developing digital literacy, critical thinking skills, and communication skills in students that are relevant to the demands of the 21st century. Thus, collaboration in education and communication is a key strategy in creating an adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable learning process in the digital era.
