About the Journal

The Journal of Religious and Cultural Studies (RELACS) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal that explores the intersections of religion, spirituality, and culture across diverse traditions. It serves as an academic platform for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to present studies that connect religious, humanistic, and cultural dimensions in addressing contemporary global and societal challenges. The journal’s focus and scope include studies of religions, theology, and spirituality from multiple perspectives; interfaith dialogue and efforts to promote harmony and tolerance among religious communities; explorations of ethics, philosophy, and religious thought relevant to modern contexts; cross-cultural and local wisdom studies that contribute to global civilization; as well as critical analyses of the relationship between religion, culture, and modern society. Through its published articles, RELACS aims to enrich academic discourse and foster constructive, solution-oriented understandings of religious and cultural issues in contemporary life. The journal is published biannually, in June and December.
