About the Journal

The Journal of Religious and Cultural Studies (RELACS) is an academic journal dedicated to the in-depth exploration of religion, spirituality, and culture across traditions. It serves as an interdisciplinary platform that bridges the dimensions of faith, humanity, and culture, encouraging scholarly dialogue and critical inquiry into the dynamic relationships between them. RELACS publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical reviews that highlight diverse perspectives in the study of religions, theology, and spirituality. The journal also emphasizes interfaith dialogue, the promotion of tolerance and harmony among religious communities, and the development of ethical and philosophical reflections that address the challenges of modern society. In addition, RELACS welcomes studies on cross-cultural understanding, local wisdom, and cultural heritage that contribute to global civilization, as well as critical analyses of the interactions between religion, culture, and contemporary social transformation. Through its publications, the journal aims to enrich academic discourse, foster mutual understanding, and promote constructive and solution-oriented perspectives on social and religious issues. RELACS is published biannually, in June and December.
