The expansion of digital spaces has reshaped contemporary patterns of Muslim religiosity through the transformation of religious authority, modes of da‘wah, and digitally mediated social interactions. While social media and digital platforms provide broader access to religious knowledge and expression, they simultaneously function as fertile arenas for the dissemination of religious disinformation, ideological radicalization, and the emergence of socio-religious pathologies. This article aims to critically examine the interrelationship between disinformation, radicalization, and social pathology within digital Muslim communities and to explore their implications for contemporary socio-religious dynamics. Employing a qualitative approach, this study adopts a critical literature review method by analyzing scholarly publications, research reports, and empirical phenomena observed in digital spaces. The findings reveal that religious disinformation operates not merely as informational distortion but as an ideological instrument that constructs reductive, exclusive, and emotionally charged religious narratives. Such narratives significantly accelerate radicalization processes, intensify religious identity polarization, and undermine the legitimacy of mainstream religious authority. Consequently, these dynamics generate socio-religious pathologies, including intolerance, the erosion of ethical religious communication, social fragmentation, and declining social trust within the digital public sphere. This article argues that strengthening digital religious literacy, internalizing the values of religious moderation, and developing ethical, reflective, and context-sensitive digital da‘wah are crucial strategies for mitigating the negative consequences of Muslim religiosity in the era of digital disruption.
